FR test specimen
The SnapLoc® system shall have been tested as an assembly utilizing complete sections of building-standard Sheetrock® gypsum board. SnapLoc® FR peripheral sections butt joints down the center, fiberglass, and a 701 FR panel cloth, which is inherently flame-retardant to meet ASTM E-84 (80a) test requirements with the following results:
• Tunnel test results for all components tested fully exposed to the burn
in a tunnel:
Flame spread 20
Smoke development 400
• Flame-spread and smoke development values vary with different fabric, frame, and infill. If non-FR infill components or fabrics are specified, the assembly rating will change accordingly.
Acoustical rating data
The system shall have acoustical-rating results and an NCR (noise reduction coefficient) rating, tested with ½ in./3 lb. fiberglass infill, as follows
| 125 Hz | 0.11 | 1000 Hz | 0.60 | |
| 250 Hz | 0.21 | 2000 Hz | 0.72 | |
| 500 Hz | 0.57 | 4000 Hz | 0.82 |
| NRC | 0.55 |
One-year warranty
Stretched panels will remain dimensionally stable and not sag or distort due to normal variances of temperature and/or humidity for one year from the date of substantial completion, provided that mechanical systems remain in proper working order.
The warranty is in effect provided that sufficient time has been allowed during installations for on-site fabric curing. And fabrics will be guaranteed to be installed with the grain, patterns, and seams level, plumb, and true.
